Mani Karan Aggarwal
Founder / Curator
I am Mani Karan AGGARWAL, a designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of College of Arts, Delhi, and over seven years of experience in the Communication Design industry. As a cultural practitioner, I am driven by the synergy of creativity, sustainability, and community engagement, with a vision to foster innovative approaches that address pressing global challenges, such as waste management and environmental responsibility.
My expertise lies in transforming creative ideas into impactful concept and communication designs, delivering solutions that resonate with audiences and align with strategic objectives.
Beyond my design practice, I am the creator of Art+Retreat, a platform launched in 2016 to nurture unique art learning experiences, foster a sense of community, and reconnect artists with nature. Guided by values of creativity, sustainability, and innovation, the initiative bridges traditional and contemporary art forms, creating immersive opportunities for exploration and growth. After two successful editions in 2016 and 2017.
Anisha Gupta
Co-Founder / Curator
My journey into the Development Sector has been one of curiosity, growth, and deep connection with people and communities. Over nine enriching years (2015–2024) with Youth Alliance, a Delhi based youth leadership non-profit, I worked in diverse roles, from leading Outreach and Volunteer Management to designing programs. My last role as the Alumni Community Creator was especially close to my heart, where I nurtured a Pan-India network of over 1,000 changemakers, fostering meaningful connections and collaborative spaces for growth.
These years shaped my approach to designing and facilitating capacity-building programs, focusing on leadership, community building, and transformation through inner work for outer change. For me, this work is not just about skill-building—it’s about creating opportunities for people to reconnect with themselves and those around them in meaningful ways.
Between 2020 and 2022, I had the privilege of working closely with Ravi Gulati, Founder of Manzil, as his Chief of Staff. I supported team expansion, mentoring, and capacity building for Manzil’s community-driven initiatives. Those experiences deepened my understanding of working with intention and care, building systems that empower both teams and communities.
Today, as a freelance facilitator and consultant, I focus on helping organizations create safe, transformative learning spaces tailored to their unique needs. I find joy in crafting experiences that are rooted in empathy, creativity, and connection.
I believe deeply in the quiet power of creating spaces where people can grow, connect, and discover their potential. At Art+, this belief drives my work, as I bring together art, community, and meaningful change to create something beautiful and impactful.
